Good day and welcome to my site! My name is Xavier Rodriguez and I am currently enrolled as a full time student attending my final semester at the prestigious Rutgers University. I am majoring in Sociology with a minor in Education which is paving the way for me to hone my skills as an educator/social worker. A unique situation has a afforded me the the luxury of being part of a specific program here at the University called Mountain View Program (MVP). This program is designed to help qualified individuals reach monumental strides after unfortunate hardships.
I have always gravitated to those in need and desired the opportunity to aid in the nurturing of a young mind. Wielding my experiences from both an educational background as well as an environmental background I hope to actively launch a successful reformation/bootcamp like program geared towards the rehabilitation of troubled youths from the Juvenile Justice Committee (JJC) and persons of special needs, particularly those with Autism.
I feel that educating a person is the most valuable and rewarding feeling in the world and I greatly look forward to my future in perusing this life long passion of mine!
